Join us as we explore what it means to be on a perfectly imperfect journey to a fulfilled life. We have a deep curiosity about the ways in which we each navigate the journey - how to savor the times when you’re in flow, what happens when you hit a bump in the road, and how to find the learning and growth in ALL of it. Because the one thing that is certain is no one’s life path is a straight line! We have lots of thoughts, ideas, and questions to share around what it takes to live a fulfilling life and we will also be talking to friends, colleagues, and experts. While our focus is on modern “western” concerns, interests, needs, fears, etc. we look to both eastern and western philosophies and practices to guide us on our journeys. We hope this podcast will feel like getting together with some good friends over a glass of wine or a cup of tea every few weeks - we do not have all the answers, but we have lots of questions and hope to inspire you to consider where you want your own journey to take you. Anne is an HR Executive and consultant and Sherry’s an executive and life coach. We have been friends and colleagues for over fifteen years and have had the good fortune to dive deeply into a wide variety of approaches that we’ve brought into both our professional and personal lives.

Joe Walsh was a right wing conservative talk radio host with a huge audience on the path to be a major player in the Republican Party. However, it all disappeared when he started speaking out against then President Trump. He lost his entire audience and his radio show, his income, most of his friends, and much of his family. And yet, what has emerged is someone who is still a conservative but far more interested in having conversations and finding common ground. He has been on quite a journey from “musket grabbing tea partier” to host of the White Flag podcast: open, curious, willing to listen, learn, and apologize for past wrongs.
Biography:
- Former Republican Congressman from Illinois.
- One of the leading voices of the Tea Party movement.
- Former nationally syndicated conservative talk radio host.
- Former Republican candidate for President in 2020, waging a Republican primary
challenge against Donald Trump.
- Author of the book "F*ck Silence: Calling Trump Out for the Cultish, Moronic,
Authoritarian Con Man He Is," released in February, 2020.
- Current host of the podcast, "White Flag With Joe Walsh," weekly conversations with
other well-known individuals modeling how to have respectful dialogue with people with
whom you disagree and commentary on current political events.
- Board Member 97Percent.US. 97Percent is a bipartisan group of Americans that
support the Second Amendment, gun safety and responsible gun ownership and
identify pragmatic solutions to reduce gun violence in our communities.
- In addition to other networks, Joe is regularly seen on CNN and MSNBC for his political
commentary.
- Joe was one of the leading conservative voices in the country, he was a supporter of
Donald Trump in 2016, then in 2018, he became Trump's most outspoken conservative
opponent, and remains that today. A lifelong Republican, Joe left the Republican Party in February of 2020. Joe is now a political independent who spends his time trying to wake the country up to the threat that Trump/Trumpism is and to rescue people from the MAGA cult.
